Utricularia, Pinguicula, Drosera, Genlisea, Cephalotus, Sphagnum, and companion plants.
Utricularia
Bladderworts. The epiphytic Orchidioides clade — tepui cliff faces and Neotropical cloud-forest canopies — sits in the highland terrarium kokedama-style; terrestrial species live elsewhere. Three of four sect. Orchidioides species were lost — the most significant single cultivation failure in the collection. The hybrid U. × nelumbifolia × reniformis is the survivor of that group; U. quelchii is the recent re-acquisition that finally bloomed.

Pinguicula
Primarily Mexican species and hybrids. The tropical P. primuliflora and large P. gigantea proved unreliable; the Diflora and Un Angolo di Deserto runs land more consistently.
